TAM SLEEVE PIPE
Description
Allied TAM Sleeve Pipe is used for injection of cement and chemical grouts. TAM (“Tube-a-Manchette”) pipe is made of Sch40 or Sch80 PVC pipe with perforated injection ports usually at spacings of 12”- 24” OC. Each injection port is covered by a rubber gland that it works as a one way valve. The valves allow the grout mixture to flow outward from the pipe only, preventing the grout and ground water from flowing back into the pipe. TAM grouting is performed with a double packer to isolate zones for targeted injection in a ground formation. TAM pipes can be joined with either threaded or glued connections..
